Request Turkish trademark renewal or recordal
List the Turkish registration numbers and identify the transaction for each right: renewal, assignment or a change to registered details. Supply the current owner information and available supporting documents.
Renewals and portfolio continuity
We review the registration details, renewal window and ownership records before preparing the required instruction for TÜRKPATENT.
Recordal services
- Trademark renewal
- Assignment and licence recordals
- Changes of name, address or legal form
- Merger and ownership record updates
Information we need
Send the registration number, current owner details, requested change, supporting documents and any relevant deadline.
Renewal and recordal scopes should not be confused
A renewal maintains the registration for the next term, while a recordal updates information such as ownership, name or address. We check the register, the requested change and the supporting document before filing, including whether the instruction concerns all or only part of the protected goods and services. Where several changes are pending, their filing order is planned to keep the ownership history coherent.
Clear scope before instruction
We confirm the required documents, procedural steps and professional fees before any filing is started.
Trademark renewal window and recordal documents
Send the registration number, proprietor details, renewal scope and expiry date. For an assignment, identify both parties, the transferred rights and the executed agreement: assignment agreements require notarisation under Turkish law. Name changes, mergers and address updates require evidence appropriate to the transaction.
An international registration renewed through WIPO is a different route from renewal of a national Turkish registration. Tell us whether the number is a Turkish national registration or a Madrid international registration so the correct procedure is selected.

Frequently asked questions
Can we send a trademark portfolio for renewal review?
Yes. List each registration number and its current owner, and identify the rights you want reviewed. The renewal work and reporting scope can then be specified for the portfolio.
Should an assignment and a renewal be quoted separately?
Identify both transactions if both are needed. They involve different registry steps and document requirements, which should be distinguished in the proposal.
